Law of third strategy

Law of thirds system – mathematical approach

Many roulette systems that are used when playing in a casino (online), are based on the Law of thirds. This mathematical principle is about random numbers: for 36 spins of the roulette wheel, 24 of the 36 numbers will come up (excluding the zeros). In other words: one third of the numbers will therefore not come up.

Law of thirds system: the Pivot strategy

One example of a strategy that uses the law of thirds is the Pivot strategy. This means that you wait a few turns in the roulette game until one number has come up twice. From then on, you play the next 36 turns on this number. You keep betting on this pivot number until you win a spin or until all of the 36 turns are played. After this, you play a new pivot number.

Deviations in the law of thirds

In the law of thirds, keep in mind that this is not a true law. This law applies only when playing a very large number of spins. Even when playing 100 to 150 spins, this roulette system will show many deviations to the rule that a third of the numbers will not come up. However, it is used by many roulette players as a successful gaming strategy. Try using the law of thirds yourself when playing. Visit one of the online casinos and see if this system can deliver you some extra profits.
