Labouchere system – strategic roulette games
There are of course no guarantees of big profits, but by using a roulette system you can increase your chances of winning at online roulette. Take for example the Labouchere system. This method is also known as Cancellation, Cross-out and Split Martingale. Simply put, this strategy comes down to the fact that you determine your desired profit level first and only stop once you have reached this. But don't forget to also determine your maximum loss in advance, so that you can also stop in a timely manner when things are not going well.
How does the Labouchere system work?
The Labouchere system works as follows. You decide how much profit you would like to make in advance, for example € 15. Then you write down a set of numbers that add up to 15. You could simply choose 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Your first bet will then consist of the two outer numbers added together, so in this example they would be € 6 (1 + 5). If you win, you cross these two numbers off of your list and are left with the series 2, 3, 4. Your next bet will then be € 6, namely 2 plus 4.
If you had lost your very first bet, record this loss at the end of your list. The series would then have been 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and your next bet would be €7.
Keep using the Labouchere system until all numbers have been crossed off
Basically you only stop once you have crossed all of the numbers off your list and your predetermined profit is achieved. What number pattern you should choose for this roulette system is tricky to predict. Some (more experienced) roulette players, play multiple number series at the same time. At one stage they use consecutive numbers, then they put them in a random order.
Labouchere system – getting results
If you play online roulette with these method and you have a winning series (that is, out of the total number of bets you have won more often than you have lost) then the system has worked perfectly and has ensured good winnings. But on the other hand, if you had a losing series (where you had more lost than winning bets) the Labouchere system can also result in considerable losses. The only thing you can do is to determine your maximum loss in advance and ensure that you do not keep playing once you have reached this limit.
Tip for the Labouchere system
Some even say that if you start to play with this strategy and you lose a few times in a row, it is smarter to stop straight away before you have even won just one single bet. But this is of course ultimately and entirely up to you to decide.
